Visiting from out of town. Do not order the galbi to-go from this place. It tasted as bad as it looked, and the portion was shockingly small for $35 . Extremely disappointing. Wish I wouldβve been warned with an honest review from here, so Iβm writing for future visitors.

Fantastic Korean BBQ in Cleveland! Clean, modern dining room filled with TVs showing kpop bands. We had a large group and ordered the combo for 4, plus some appetizers to share. Everything was fresh & delicious. Our server was great! He grilled each meat to perfection and checked in on us to make sure the pace of his cooking was working for our group (we asked for a small break to continue chatting & eating). He was great about changing the videos on the TV by our table so our teenage girls could watch the BTS videos they were most interested in. Lol Great food, great service, great ambiance - we'll be back!

My boyfriend and I were craving KBBQ, so we decided to try Gogi-en. Heβs been here before and brought home galbi and marinated galbi that were amazing. Because of that experience, we came in with high expectations and were really excited. At first, I liked this restaurant for its cleanliness and cute decor. The overall ambiance gave a very pleasant first impression. However, my experience today was quite disappointing. I was not satisfied with the service or the food quality. When the server brought us to our table, she seated us at the front near the entrance by the snack corner. We asked if we could move to a table in the back, but she told us those tables were for non-bbq guests. We were okay with that and stayed. However, shortly after, we saw other parties being seated in the back and eating KBBQ. That felt inconsistent and honestly disappointing. We ordered the yookhwe (beef tartare) bibimbap ($20.95), the Korean beef BBQ combo for two ($119.99), prime rib ($44.95), and makgeolli. Honestly, the portions were lot smaller than I expected for the price. Brisket only came with 6 thick pieces and galbi came with 9 to 12 pieces depending on how you cut them. The last straw was

We were here 2 times. Food was good overall. Tobbokki rice cakes was overcooked and has not much rices cakes compare to Seoul garden. Doenjang-jjiage (soybean soup) and kimchi-jjiage were tasting good. Banchan (side dish) was ok, but bean sprout, fish cake strips and chopped salad were lack of salt. Service was good. Itβs a decent place to come.

Clean and great service. Their menu is mainly Korean BBQ and they grill it for you, just like an actual one should! The menu outside of KBBQ is limited. The chadol dwenjangjjigae (νλλμ₯μ°κ°) was a bit too greasy for my palatte, but I need to try their other soups to pass full judgement. Their seafood pancake (νμ ) is really good! μΉμ ν μλ΄ κ°μ¬νμ΅λλ€, λ μ¬κ²μ!
